Welcome to SWAET 2012 at Karolinska Institutet! The Scandinavian Workshop on Applied Eye Tracking (SWAET) is an interdisciplinary meeting place for graduate students, researchers, industry, and other people using eye tracking as a measurement tool. The 6th SWAET will be held at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm on May 2-4, 2012. www.eyelab.se/swaet * Highlights We are delighted to have Dr. Daniel C. Richardson from University College, London, and Dr. Zoï Kapoula from the European Hospital Georges Pompidou, Paris, as keynote speakers. The workshop starts Wednesday afternoon with the traditional eye tracking methods lecture by Kenneth Holmqvist (Lund University). This is followed by a get-together party at the Bernadotte Laboratories. The plenary sessions will be held at Karolinska Institutet on Thursday and Friday. Ample time is set aside for discussions and opportunities for collaboration. Thursday’s workshop dinner will take place at Tobii Technology Headquarters (with an opportunity to a factory tour). A plenary discussion on Eye Tracking Standardization is scheduled for Friday afternoon. A contribution may be presented orally or as a poster. Submit your contribution no later than March 30th using the submission form available at: www.eyelab.se/swaet/submissions * Registration The registration for SWAET 2012 is now open. The early registration fee is 100 EUR (before March 30th). Students and PhD candidates are eligible to attend for half the cost provided that they can certify their enrollment.
